Sporting events are phenomenal in Dubai. The Sheikh pays athletes a boat load of money to get the names there. And then usually to go watch the event it's free or a minimal charge because he wants the world to see the crowds in Dubai.
One afternoon, I watched Tom Berdych and Andy Murray play on a side court with just a smattering of about 15 other people. Follow that up with matches of Djokovic vs Ferrer and Tipsarevic vs. Almagro.
The Abu Dhabi HSBC draws some of the biggest names in golf, where we watched McIlroy and Lee and Mickelson and tickets to watch were offered for free if you wore red. Red looks good on TV and matches their color theme.
